Creating a Preventative Healthcare Culture
People Who Feel Good, Do Good
We believe this one precious lifetime is an opportunity to live aligned, engaged, and rooted in purpose. But awakening is not abstract. It begins with how we feel.
When the body is balanced, the mind becomes clear.
When digestion is strong, emotions stabilize.
When we are nourished, we remember who we are.
A healthy body is the fastest route to a peaceful mind.
A peaceful mind becomes a force for good in the world.
What is Satya here to do?
Complementary Wholistic Health Care
As a team of specialized Ayurvedic Practitioners and Health Educators, we work closely with both clients and healthcare professionals on collective complimentary care ~ ensuring education surrounding home health initiatives. From daily habits & lifestyle practices to nutritional support, encouragement on connecting with the rhythms and gifts of nature itself, & how best to navigate through life’s challenges.
Health Education for Youth
As the heart of this project, we are thrilled to be sharing workshops with youth & their families. Our peer teaching peer approach begins with leading a core group of young adults through professional Ayurvedic training courses. Our goals entail training these students through our Mango Seeds Program to then share the information with their peers, families, & even help us educate the younger students.
Bridging the gap between Ayurveda & Caribbean plants & culture
While originating in ancient India, Ayurveda (also known as the science of life) utilizes similar plants, spices and practices that have formed the bedrock of generational healing in our Caribbean culture. One of our main goals at Satya is to bridge this gap ~ utilizing the lens of ancient Ayurvedic knowledge and applying it to our local plant medicine practices for clarity on why and how the practices our elders have shared for years supports community healing. This will entail exploration of a Ayurvedic comprehension of local plants, story telling and round table discussions between community elders and our youth population and knowledge on the traditional ways of interacting with the natural world here in the Virgin Islands, and much more.
Waking people up to their true nature as The Nature
Aligning with nature goes far beyond physical health alone. Our aim is to help people feel fully alive as they walk through life. A healthy body is the fastest route to a happy mind. So, we start there - feeding balance in our bodies & in our minds through food consciousness and awareness of our five senses, so that we can really listen to our souls yearnings in this lifetime to experience the true peace and bliss each precious life has to offer.
Our work is grounded in Ayurveda — the world’s oldest holistic medical system — which teaches a simple and profound truth:
We are not separate from Nature.
We are Nature.
When we live out of rhythm with natural law, we experience disconnection — anxiety, illness, division, confusion. When we return to natural rhythm through food, breath, daily routine, service, and community, harmony is restored.
True health is not merely physical. In Ayurveda, it is defined as balanced tissues, balanced digestion and elimination, a happy mind, and a peaceful soul.
This balance becomes the foundation for higher awareness, compassion, and purposeful action.
The Mango Seed Initiative
The mango seed carries a whole tree within it.
In the same way, each young person carries immense, often untapped potential.
We educate.
We mentor.
We inspire.
Then we empower youth to teach youth.
Awakened hearts awaken hearts.
Knowledge becomes living wisdom when it is shared.
This is how a community regenerates itself from within.
